Activities carried out with minors by specialists of the healthcare institution "City Clinical Narcological Dispensary":

1. One-day training classes on the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances by adolescents are held on the basis of the adolescent narcological department of the dispensary. A narcologist and a psychologist work with a group of 10-12 students for 1,5 hours.

The objective of the classes: providing students with information about the dangers of psychoactive substances, optimizing their socially adaptive skills and activating personal resources via interactive learning.

2. Conducting social and psychological training with students aimed at expanding life competence and developing protective barriers to psychoactive substances in adolescents with a preliminary questionnaire.

The objective of the training: to delay the use of alcohol as much as possible and to achieve a refusal from the use of narcotic and toxic substances via the formation of a fully functioning personality.

3. There is a “School of communication with children” for parents on the basis of the narcological dispensary.

The objective of the classes: to explain to parents the peculiarities of adolescence, the psychology of growing up, what is meant by the prevention of the use of psychoactive substances by adolescents, signs of the use of psychoactive substances by minors, the formation of addiction on psychoactive substances and possible treatment options for addictions.
