Combined vector vaccine for the prevention of coronavirus infection caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus – "Gam-COVID-Vac".
Vaccination is carried out to persons over the age of 18, including those who have had a coronavirus infection, 3-6 months after recovery without a preliminary serological examination.
There are temporary contraindications:
After recovery from an acute infection or the onset of remission, vaccination is carried out after 2-4 weeks. In case of mild ARVI, acute infectious diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, vaccination is allowed after the temperature normalization.
There are permanent contraindications for vaccination:
Vaccination of people with immunodeficiency diseases and diseases in which immunosuppressive therapy is performed (oncological, autoimmune diseases). The safety and efficiency of the vaccine in these groups of people have not been studied. Therefore, the vaccination question (benefit / risk) should be decided by the immunological commission.

Vaccination is carried out in two stages: at the first stage component I is administered at a dose of 0.5 ml. The drug is injected intramuscularly into the upper third of the shoulder. We ask you to stay at the healthcare facility within 30 minutes after vaccination to prevent possible allergic reactions and post-vaccination complications.
Short-term general (a short-term flu-like syndrome characterized by chills, fever, arthralgia, myalgia, asthenia, general malaise, headache) and local (soreness at the injection site, hyperemia, swelling) reactions can develop in the first or second days after vaccination. They are resolved within three consecutive days.
Nausea, dyspepsia, decreased appetite, sometimes an increase in regional lymph nodes are noted less often. Development of allergic reactions is possible.
It is recommended to avoid wetting the injection site, trips to the bathhouse (sauna), excessive physical exertion and drinking alcohol within 3 days after vaccination.
Take antihistamines (suprastin, fenkarol, loratadine) in case of redness, swelling, soreness of the vaccination site.
If the body temperature rises after vaccination, take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (paracetamol, nimesulide, etc.).
The COVID-19 vaccine does not replace the need for the vaccinated patient to wear masks and gloves and maintain social (physical) distance.
