All-Belarusian campaign "National Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War: let's remember everyone!"

The indefinite All-Belarusian campaign "National Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War: Let's remember Everyone", initiated in 2020 by the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, is aimed at perpetuating and preserving the memory of the winners in the Great Patriotic War. The Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus receives materials from family chronicles, memoirs, research papers of students, copies of documents from archives, biographies, etc. At the Center for Military History, materials are being systematized, analyzed and prepared for publication in the third book "The National Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War: Let's Remember Everyone!", which is scheduled for release in the first half of 2023.

The joint work of academic scientists with institutions of general secondary and higher education, district (city) executive committees, public organizations testifies to the direct connection of generations and unites different strata of society around the military history of Belarus, the history of the Great Patriotic War.

The site is constantly being improved, supplemented with new materials that were published in the first two books "The National Chronicle of the Great Patriotic War: let's remember everyone!": book one, book two, etc.

Currently, a draft concept for a separate Internet portal (scientific and informational) with the working title "LETAPIS - memory of the Belarusian people" has been developed and approved, on which it is planned to place the collected materials. The work is being carried out by scientists from the Center for Military History of Belarus, the Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Laboratory of Speech Recognition and Synthesis of the Joint Institute of Computer Science of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
